The Verb101 is a rapper, songwriter and a record producer, has worked with some of the best under-dog music producers the country has to offer, namely KaySoul, ICE-Beats, Neo Makwa and DayDreamer to name but a few. He is an independent recording artist signed to a boutique record label called Speakeasi productions .
A few hit singles have circulated the local radio stations and he has an electrifying stage performance. The immensley talented young man has just completed his due for release debut album
titled The Speakeasi and has a few ''sleeper hit" singles' under his belt
He was born in September 30th in 1986 in Koksatad Hospital, a small district between PeterMaritzburg and Mount Alyf. He grew up in the rural Eastern Cape and later on moved to Johanessburg where his mother felt the education was much better.
He lived with his mother in the east of Johannesurg, in a small city called Germiston where he attended a multi-racial school called Germiston Primary,he was a bright student who later on became the school's headboy in 7th grade,he attended high school in Germiston High,played basketball as a sport and was also involved in school plays where he was awarded half-colours in dramatical theatre.
Music played a big role in his life as he later on realised that he could rap, he decided to pursue a music career during his Damelin college days where he studied sound enineering -theory.Due to financial setbacks he dropped out of college before he could get to the practical side of his dream career.
All of this never stopped him from pursuing his dream for he held down a few jobs in clothing stores and later on decided to start a small recording label with a friend and business partner Lwande Makohliso.
